We use the term "ceremonial matcha" carefully because it gets thrown around a lot in this market. To us, it means a specific standard; the patience of the process, the care that goes into a properly sourced ceremonial matcha tea, the way a well-made bowl of hojicha can genuinely settle your mind. Matcha made in a generic mug isn't matcha at its best. Each chawan in our collection was chosen intentionally to pair with a specific tea. A handmade chawan a proper Japanese tea bowl changes the experience in ways that are hard to explain until you've tried it.
Our organic Japanese matcha comes from two origins:
Kagoshima — the southernmost of Japan's main islands, Kyushu, This is matcha with depth. It holds up in a latte, water or juice but it really shines in a straight ceremonial bowl.
Okayama — cooler, more inland, The result is a green matcha powder that's noticeably smoother lower bitterness and slightly sweeter. It's what we'd call the most approachable, comfortable ceremonial matcha perfect for beginner

Actual first-harvest, stone-ground, organic ceremonial matcha from regions in Japan that know how to grow it properly. When we first launched, we focused entirely on ceremonial matcha. Then customers kept asking about hojicha. Not everyone wants caffeine at every hour of the day, and hojicha tea offers everything that makes Japanese tea special (ritual, quality, warmth) without the stimulation. Our Kagoshima hojicha tea powder became one of our most-loved products once people tried it and pairs beautifully with milk in a way that surprised even us.
Where do you get your matcha green tea from?
We get our Japanese matcha tea from farms in Japan that grow organic matcha. These farms are very special. They only grow organic ceremonial matcha.

We don't just sell matcha; our offerings also include premium matcha powder, roasted hojicha, whisk and a handmade chawan. Also includes premium gifts set ans starter set.
How do you keep the matcha tea powder fresh when you send it to people?
We put the matcha tea powder in containers that keep out air and light. Then we send it to you quickly so your Japanese matcha stays fresh.
Do you sell anything besides matcha products?
Yes we also sell hojicha. We have roasted hojicha tea and hojicha green tea powder. These are options if you do not want too much caffeine.
